Steps to a positive S-Rating
- Locations with 9 or less employees
- Locations with 10-99 employees
- Locations with 100 and more employees
Locations with 9 or fewer employees can be exempted from the S-rating*. This requires the following steps:
1. Please use this template to create a confirmation of your number of employees.

2. Send the confirmation to sustainability@vwgroupsupply.com with your DUNS number.
3. If you have already completed an SAQ, please make sure that the number of employees stated there corresponds to the information in the "Confirmation of the number of employees".
A positive S-rating for sites with 10-99 employees can be achieved as follows:
1. Please register on the platform www.supplierassurance.com
2. Create an SAQ for the DUNS number mentioned in the subject line, fill out the SAQ and upload the required documents and certificates. More information in the FAQs / Guideline.
3. Please make sure that the minimum requirements of the Volkswagen Group are met, as these are a mandatory prerequisite for a positive S rating.
4. Submit your SAQ for validation after fully answering all questions on the platform.
5. As soon as the validation of your self-certification is complete, you will receive an email from NQC about your SAQ result and potential for improvement.
6. You can find out whether the result of the questionnaire is sufficient for a positive S-rating of the Volkswagen Group on our supplier platform ONE. KBP on the homepage under "My S-Rating".

- Environmental management system certificate (for production sites, in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Business Partners), question 11 in the SAQ
- On-site inspection if required
