VOLKSWAGEN GROUP SERVICES, s.r.o. was founded in August 2008 in Bratislava under the name AUTOVISION SLOVAKIA, s. r. o. and was renamed VOLKSWAGEN GROUP SERVICES, s.r.o. in 2018 as part of the Group transformation.

The new name reflects the strategic direction of the Group as a whole with its brands and companies. The company currently employs around 13,000 people, including at 8 international locations, where the Slovakian company serves the market in Slovakia and the Czech Republic in the heart of Europe.
