Business Partner Due Diligence

The Volkswagen Group is in a business relationship with partners all over the globe. In order to only engage in relationships with business partners that behave with integrity and compliant, the Volkswagen Group has implemented a group-wide uniform and IT-based process to check existing and future business partners in regards to their integrity. This check is called Business Partner Due Diligence (BPDD). It aims at recognising risks such as corruption or money laundery risks as early as possible and to minimise them by implementing respective measures. The BPDD process is applicable only for selected suppliers following a risk-based approach. A successful assessment is a prerequisite for any business relation with the Volkswagen Group. If you are not asked go through this process by the Volkswagen Group explicitly, there is no demand for action.
