The purchasing volume for all brands und regions of the Volkswagen Group encloses all in all commodities and services to the amount of 75,4 billions Euro. The Volkswagen Group works nearly with 36.000 suppliers worldwide. In the meantime suppliers deliver over 60 percent of our vehicle parts. Hence the procurement has a crucial interface function where all links converge. We will further extend the close link between technical development, marketing, production, and suppliers to tap synergy potentials that set innovative as well as direction-setting impulses for the entire Volkswagen Group.
