Thus, the Volkswagen Group has a worldwide presence in more than 100 countries. The procurement division mainly purchases services and materials required by the importers in each respective country. These divisions serve as regional procurement offices in the USA and Italy. The Volkswagen Group Italia S.p.A., Groupe Volkswagen France, and Volkswagen UK count to the most important importers in Europe. The Volkswagen Volkswagen Group Sverige AB is the most important importer for Scandinavia. The Volkswagen Group Canada Inc. is responsible for the entire canadian area.
