With the rollout of the Group Business Platform we want to integrate our suppliers into all business processes. That is way we have developed the Group Business Platform which is a private platform between the suppliers and the VW Group. All transactions are exclusively contacted between the suppliers and the VW Group.

The internet access is the basis of our communication. We exchange data through a coded connection and we have a common interface for all procurement processes.

Along the value chain, the procurement processes are easily and rational constructed for both parties.

The central online procurement applications, quality assurance, department for research and development as well as the logistics are consolidated on our B2B Supplier Platform. 

The development of the existing infrastructure is constantly expanded. That is way the number of applications are increased from 7 to more than 60. This shows that the Group Business Platform is constantly increasing and is taking on greater significance.

Only technologies that ensure a secure access and data exchange are used for the development of new applications.
